Cookie Policy
This working policy describes the small amount of browser storage currently used by the Growthut website and how optional technologies should be handled.
This is an editable working draft. It must be updated if analytics, advertising, embedded media, chat, testing, or other third-party technologies are added. Legal review should confirm the final consent model for every market Growthut serves.
1. Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small values a website can store through a browser and send with later requests. Local storage is browser storage that generally remains on the device until it is cleared. The current Growthut interface uses local storage for essential preferences. It does not currently rely on optional analytics being active by default.

3. Essential technologies
Essential technologies support requested interface functions, security, accessibility, form operation, theme preferences, currency display, and consent recording. They should be limited to what is reasonably needed and should not be used for unrelated advertising profiles.
4. Optional analytics and measurement
Optional analytics should remain disabled until a tool is configured, documented, and accepted where consent is required. Before activation, this policy should identify the provider, data categories, purpose, retention, transfer arrangements, and method for withdrawing consent.
5. Advertising, social, and embedded content
The current policy does not authorise unlisted advertising pixels or social tracking. A third-party video, map, chat tool, social embed, or advertising service may create its own storage or requests. Such features should be assessed and, where required, blocked until the visitor makes an appropriate choice.
6. Your choice
The website preference panel offers “Accept optional cookies” and “Use essential only.” A saved choice should apply across pages. Accepting optional technologies has no effect until those technologies are actually configured. Essential-only selection should keep optional tools disabled.
A future preference centre should allow a visitor to revisit or withdraw consent as easily as it was given. Until that control is added, browser storage can be cleared through browser settings to reset the website choice.
7. Managing storage in your browser
Most browsers allow you to inspect, block, or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking all storage may prevent theme, currency, calculator, or consent preferences from remaining available between pages or visits. Browser help documentation provides instructions for each device and version.
8. Do Not Track and similar signals
Browser and regulatory preference signals continue to develop. Growthut should review recognised signals when optional measurement or advertising tools are introduced and document how supported signals are handled.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy should be updated whenever storage purposes, providers, durations, website features, or consent requirements change. The published effective date must remain accurate.
